... When I realize that I listened to Dir en Grey maybe too much when I was addicted to Silent Hill.
For an example, I'm right now listening to their song Bugaboo from their 7th album, Uroboros. The song makes me imagine Enma Ai from the anime Jigoku Shoujo walk around the Silent Hill in the fog version of Alchemilla. Later, when Kyo starts to growl, it changes to the Otherworld, and Ai is chased by, oh let's say, Nurses. Around 2:47, Ai hides in a room, and notices an hallucination of her body falling apart in a mirror. During the third refrain, she falls to the floor on her knees meanwhile scratching at her throat violently, coughing up blood at the same time. In the end, she collapses to the floor meanwhile blood comes out from her eyes, whispering quietly "I don't want to die..."
Sounds quite creepy, hm? Is there any songs that makes you think about Silent Hill?
