I've been asking myself this question for a while now. What makes Silent Hill scary? I've only played the first and second game, but both games were able to up my standards for what is scary in a survival horror game. (Eat your heart out Dead Space) Honestly, what i find to be the scariest part of Silent Hill the "Fear of the Unknown" factor. With out this then the game meh.
So what about Silent Hill scares the piss out of you?
