I never played the HD Collection mostly because I've still got the two on my PS2 which is somewhere in the house, the whole section was just really fucking childish which didn't really seem to show any actual knowledge in how game development happens when it comes to re-mastering a game for the next generation consoles. It was an opinionated mess which obviously the Wiki has to try and avoid, lotta it regarding the lip sync in particular was really petty. Seeing as ADR isn't exactly an easy process and seeing how it'd take a really long time and a lotta budget to get the lip sync perfectly which'd never happen for such aged games

"Both console versions were met with negative reactions by long-term ''Silent Hill'' fans, especially regarding the technical problems, some artistic changes from the original presentation, and no original voice acting in ''Silent Hill 3''. The "remaster" was received so negatively by some ''Silent Hill'' fans to the point where it has spawned a fandom joke in which they refuse to acknowledge its existence (''"HD Collection? I never played the HD Collection mostly because I've still got the two on my PS2 which is somewhere in the house. I've pirated games before but I wouldn't do it to such extremes the article encouraged.

The whole section was just really fucking childish which didn't really seem to show any actual knowledge in how game development happens when it comes to re-mastering a game for the next generation consoles. It was an opinionated mess which obviously the Wiki has to try and avoid, a lot of it regarding the lip sync in particular was really petty. Seeing as ADR isn't exactly an easy process and seeing how it'd take a really long time and a lotta budget to get the lip sync perfectly which'd never happen for such aged games. There was also the case of that Day 1 patch comment, that really annoyed me.

"Both console versions were met with negative reactions by long-term Silent Hill fans, especially regarding the technical problems, some artistic changes from the original presentation, and no original voice acting in Silent Hill 3. The "remaster" was received so negatively by some Silent Hill fans to the point where it has spawned a fandom joke in which they refuse to acknowledge its existence ("HD Collection? What HD Collection? Don't be silly, there is none!")"

"The HD Collection was criticized for lacking Silent Hill 4: The Room and Silent Hill: Origins (although considering the state of the HD Collection, it may be seen as a good thing that they were spared)."

These two paragraphs were probably the worst in terms of when I was going through a major removal/overhaul. I've been meaning to go over the page again to see if I've missed anything really cringy.
