  • So i've always wondered why was Rose still stuck in the Fog world at then end of the film and after six years why was she still trapped there?

    • Alessa wanted Rose to act as her new mother and had no intention of returning to the real world, so she trapped Rose in the place where she feels safe, where no one can ever take her mother from her again.

Then why was Dahlia kept alive ? Cybil & later, Rose, said "Mother is God in the eyes of a child." that answers that question, but I always thought that Dark Alessa & Sharon combined so that she could enter other churches and sanctuaries in Silent Hill and exact her revenge, like what she did with Rose; that would explain why there were other Order members seen in Revelation.

    • Dahlia was kept alive because Alessa loved her, even if she clearly thought Rose was a better mother. Alessa did not reunite to continue her revenge. The whole thing about there being more cult members is a straight retcon of the first film's canon, the same as so many other plot points that were changed. In the first film's canon, she killed all the cult members and trapped Rose so they could be together. Even adding Revelation's canon, that theory still doesn't make sense, because Sharon and Dark Alessa are not combined in Revelation, nor does Dark Alessa want them to unite.

    • It seems as if your're right. Dark Alessa did make it clear that it would be over soon. I just hate admitting the retcons that Michael J. Bassett made. Revelation had so much potential.

    • revelation did have potential,if its not in hand of Michael J. Bassett, instead was directed by Cristophe Gans, thing would be different.

Revelation have many plot gap,but the whole potential is so much, its even makes me sad how they waste such potential....

      According to my theory...

Alessa indeed had psionic power, but the true power of the place come from the town by itself. Alessa are simply a trigger for the force to be unleashed. I call her a "major trigger", and another example of her kind are Walter Sullivan.

On the movie, the theory are slightly altered... Both had power by their own (the place and the individual) however Alessa had the full control of the town on the movie.
