Samuel Hadida is a Moroccan producer who has worked on more than thirty major features.
Hadida founded Metropolitan Filmexport, a production company, in 1978. Hadida's company works closely with Lionsgate.
Five years before the creation of the first Silent Hill movie, Hadida was contacted by French director Christophe Gans about the project. Gans was an avid fan of the Silent Hill video game and wanted Hadida's help in convincing Konami to allow him to adapt the game's story to the big screen. Hadida agreed, and he and Gans spent five years attempting to contact the gaming corporation. When Konami finally sold the game's rights, Hadida became the film's main producer.
