  • After your latest episode of aggression, name calling, and pot-stirring, Ari and I have talked it over and we both agree that you no longer exhibit the desired qualities of an admin on this wiki. I do understand that you feel that Alex's treatment is unduly harsh, but there are reasons for this, particularly given that a new argument springs up with him every few weeks. Your behavior is overwhelmingly aggressive, and after seeing you yet again go behind another admin's back and change a block setting without discussion, combined with your personal tirade against a new user and calling the other admins "cunts", it has been decided that you will be demoted permanently. I am sorry to have to do this. May you fare better on other wikis.

    • My sincerest apologies for not being able to respond in a speedier fashion, I was quite inundated with examinations and so I had to focus on my studies. Now, onto the matter at hand: My latest episode of aggression and name calling was and is completely warranted, Jill. You guys were being cunts, Alex did absolutely nothing to deserve that ban and I stand by my decision to revert it, for I did so for two important reasons: Firstly, to give him an opportunity to provide the evidence that you all denied him, as is only correct in a civil discussion. From what I can see, the objection to the inclusion of the material was less to do with its actual content but rather the implication that a man might enjoy drawing women with large breasts (a shocking notion, to be sure). The fact that you preemptively blocked Alex's response says volumes more about you and your "team's" temperament as administrators than does my calling out your cunty behavior for what it rightly us. Secondly, I was once again not consulted prior to his blocking. As a (now prior) member of the administration on this wiki, I had every right to be included in the discussion regarding any would be block, but yet again I was denied this, likely because you know I wouldn't dismiss Alex's viewpoint immediately, unlike you. Your "reasons" are bullshit, you just don't want to deal with the idea that Alex might have something actually worthwhile to say. This is, in effect, censorship, and if you think I'll sit idly by and not protest this, you are obviously woefully mistaken. As to my "tirade" against a new user, that's absolutely a groundless claim for my demotion. There was no tirade, there was only the asking of a legitimate question: Why was a user with no history on the Wiki granted privileges above and beyond an ordinary user, privileges that they did not only not earn nor deserve without consultation with any other users or administrators, but privileges which point to another gross abuse of power and misconduct by administrators on this wiki - one in particular, it would seem.

To be frank, I could give two shits about being demoted. It was obvious for a long time that my status as an administrator meant nothing in the face of the dictatorial regime you cunts seem intent on setting up around here, a system in which any dissent or discussion is immediately silenced in order to avoid any "arguments" (read, discussions) that you don't want to deal with. Sorry Jill, this is fucked up and if I'm coming across as aggressive, it's because I'm pissed off - not at being demoted, but at you guys routinely picking on Alex over little more than a difference of opinion. I know you wont accept this, as you've denied it in the past and to accept any of this would mean accepting that you are, in fact, in the wrong here, an idea which seems to be beyond your comprehension. Also, I'm not going anywhere. You can treat me like you do Alex, ban me every time I speak my mind, but I'll keep coming back and calling out your attitude for what it is: dictatorial cuntiness.

  • I've given it back to you, I'm sorry it took me this long. It wasn't my intention but life has been incredibly hectic these last couple of weeks. Anyway, there you go. Let's hope for a better relationship.

      Loading editor
    • Araceli, the condition of our relationship is not dependent upon my privileges, or lack thereof, but upon your attitude. Everything from your vocabulary to your abuse of power reeks of a dictatorial mindset when it comes to this Wiki, which I will not stay silent about.

        Loading editor
    • I never said or implied our relationship had to do with your admin status, and my vocabulary? Do you oppose how I speak now?

I have spoken with the others as far as you are concerned and they did not find any fault in what I did, or will continue to do should you give any more problems, Murphy. If you don't like it, by all means, contact Wikia Central.

Let us drop all pretenses aside. I could have very easily kept you off the admin list, and contributed it to me forgetting. No one else asked or questioned why you were not brought back. But, when I did remember that it had been overdue, I came back, despite my own reservations, to give you back your responsibilities. A "dictator" as you so charmingly put it, would have simply left you to be a regular member and nuisance.

It comes down to this, if you see other admins handling a situation, do not step in with your own "solution" and expect no kind of reprimand if it's warranted. If no one is around, then do what you must. If you cannot follow that, then you can step down from responsibilities here, and no hard feelings.

I don't want to sit here and argue in some kind weird power struggle thing. But I will not sit idly by either and watch you bash other admins, myself, or circumvent what others have decided all because you want to.

the choice is yours. Call it whatever you want.

  • Araceli blocked Alex because she was bothered by his usage of rules he himself created to force other users to do what he wanted, as well as to avoid yet another lengthy argument of Alex vs everyone else that in the past months has been known to always end badly. She did this in light of what was happening at that moment, combined with his past behavior over the last months.

Please do not undermine a fellow admin's authority by running in and removing a ban without speaking to that admin first. You may have the opinion that Alex is free to run his mouth as much as he wants, even when it runs the risk of creating another meltdown like the kinds that led to his last two bans, but he has brought such a terrible reputation to this wiki that both Ari and I feel that the only way to restore our good name is to keep Alex in check. In truth, we've been trying to get Alex to agree to talk to us before he was allowed back, though that doesn't seem to be getting anywhere.

    • My name is Jillian, not Jill. Also, I have had enough of your accusations and pot-stirring. You are only slinging mud and trying to create a divide amongst the admins. I will not speak to you further about the matter.

    • I didn't mean to imply you weren't sick, in fact I do believe you. Get well soon. It would suck to die so soon after discussing such an unpleasant topic. If you need to message me, do so on facebook. If I need to talk to you, I will do the same.

Jill is often an accepted abbreviation of Jillian. Too be honest I'm too lazy to bother with the extra letters, but if you prefer I use your full name, and ask nicely I'll make a special effort for you, Jill.

My "accusations and pot-stirring" is nothing more than the expression of a contrary point of view, which is obviously unacceptable to you. I'm not attempting to "create a divide amongst the admins" (the concept itself is laughable) so please, stop imagining slights and drumming up something out of nothing. Believe it or not, pointing out the inconsistencies in another's logic and reasoning is not "slinging mud." It's cool if you don't want to speak on this further, as we're clearly getting nowhere. If that is indeed the case, have a jolly good day.

  • Turns out I did remove that video, just from another page. I was debating on whether or not I should've removed those videos on the HD Collection, the whole page before I removed a lotta stuff was just biased and a clusterfuck.

This is something that gets to me. I have the same issue with Origins. People blame it on the dev team, but in these cases, the devs were really reluctant to take the job. But Konami had handed them the mess and they had to put it together to keep food on their tables.

  • Hello again :D This time I have a similar question with my last. I wanted to add a picture (JPG) of Henry at his page. The picture shows "victim henry" more "clearly" (Model swapping). But I have no idea how to put it in the page... I tried reading a tutorial and I just couldn't figure it out. Any help?

  • Hello Murphy! Im sorry to see that I made so many grammar errors trying to add some facts that I know about Silent Hill. I just wanted to apologise. And I will try to write my sentences more carefully and learn from my mistakes as I keep adding information(but still...one or two grammar errors may still appear seeing that English isnt my main language)

    • Hello Coolguy3060! I could sorta tell that you weren't a native speaker, but it's completely cool, guy (see what I did there?). Your apology is appreciated, but unnecessary: Everyone makes mistakes, and I'm often told that English can be a tricky language to learn. Just keep at it, and remember to re-read the sentences you type, out loud if needed, to see if they sound right. Not only is it helpful on this wiki, it'll help you gain greater fluency in English. Thanks for putting the time in to edit here, and I look forward to seeing you around.

  • Hi, was it you who locked that page? I wanted to cast my vote but I don't come onto this wiki very often and it appears voting was only open for a day.

      Loading editor
    • Hi, no I wasn't the one that locked the page, that was another one of our fine admins. I could unlock it again, but to be honest it might be more trouble than it is worth at the moment. What would you have voted, out of interest?

        Loading editor
    • I would have voted yes, given what I wrote previously on that page.  Everytime I see the "Looks like 'God' didn't make it" scene near the end of SH3, it all clicks into place for me given the themes the game was going towards.  For me the Hanger was a call forward to that scene.

        Loading editor
    • While I respect your opinion, and the theme of birth (or lack thereof) is indeed heavily prevalent throughout the game, in my view saying the coat hanger - an item given about 10 seconds of significance - has a deeper meaning than just an item Heather uses to go on her way is pure speculation. Yes, coat hangers can be used for makeshift abortions (though I don't know who in their right mind would utilize it for such), and yes, Heather effectively "aborted" God. I just don't see the hanger having anything to do with it. If we open up that avenue of thought, we could get a million and one edits on what people think a particular item could mean. Like, does the ball Harry finds in Silent Hill one to clog up the drain represent how Cheryl stopped Harry's depression after his wife died? Does the blackboard eraser in Downpour symbolize how Murphy wants to "undo" the mistakes of the past? Does the six pack James finds in the apartment complex symbolize how American society and by extension James himself is addicted to depressants? Whilst these are all potentially valid points of view, they are rooted in too much speculation and too little fact. Of course, when it comes to Silent Hill, there isn't that much that is solid, and I believe that speculation does have a place, it simply needs to be backed up by more than vague links of thematic representations.
