Myth2

The man, at the right, offering a serpent to the sun.

The man who prayed for salvation is an important character in the myths of the Order who helped in birthing God. According to the myth, he offered a serpent to the sun and prayed for salvation. Along with a woman who asked for joy, God was born out of pity and sadness for humanity.

In a chapel of the Order, he is depicted above the pulpit in stained glass. He is to the god's right, while the woman who asked for joy is to God's left. When examining it, Heather Mason states:

"It shows God and the man and woman who birthed her."
