Silent Hill: Downpour

The Heart inside a jar is needed to complete the Dead Man's Hand sidequest in Silent Hill: Downpour. It was ripped out of the chest of a prison inmate and left in a sewer. Murphy Pendleton can locate it in Pleasant River, underneath the house south on Rice Street in a Sewer Labyrinth. The heart is located by following the sound of its beating, which is louder the closer Murphy is to the heart. It must be reinserted into the inmate's chest to complete the sidequest.
